Location: Chiang Mai | Status: Full Time | Report to: Head of Logistics
Travel: Frequent travel (domestic & overseas) as required
Are you a professional passionate about making a difference? REACH for Equity is seeking a Roving Logistician who will be based in Chiang Mai, Thailand and is responsible for supporting the effective implementation of logistics and supply chain operations across country offices. The position assists in implementing logistics policies, procedures, and systems, while monitoring supply chain activities including procurement, transport, warehousing, and distribution to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. The role provides operational support during staff absences, high workload periods, new program start-ups, and emergency responses. The Roving Logistician also contributes to partner capacity strengthening, staff training, and safety and security compliance while supporting data analysis, reporting, and logistics system administration. This position will report to Head of Logistics.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher-level diploma/certification in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and Safety and security or related fields, with experience in providing training and coaching.
- Knowledge of international trade and multimodal transport.
- Experience in managing safety and security.
- Familiarity with the local context in Thailand.
- Basic knowledge of digital security and ICT.
- Knowledge of UN/INGO logistics and procurement rules is preferred.
- Valid Travel Document for overseas Travel.
- Willingness to travel and work well in a team.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, with a solid understanding of word processing and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
- Strong team-building and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail, consistency, and quality, with the ability to meet deadlines.
